GUSTAVO OVIEDO

Gustavo is a diver, muralist, videographer, and environmentalist whose art has evolved from graffiti to vibrant biomorphic forms inspired by his love of the sea. His commitment to marine life is reflected in the organic shapes of his paintings, sculptures, and public works. Over the past two decades, he has exhibited widely in private and corporate settings—from Louis Vuitton and Stella Artois to SLS Cancun and Chotto Matte—and has participated in talks and workshops at institutions like Young at Art Museum and the De La Cruz Collection. His public commissions, including works for Miami-Dade County, Wynwood Walls, and the Arsht–Rockefeller Resilience Center, are always signed with his iconic “131” moniker.
